About the Citizens Task Force

In April, the Austin City Council appointed a Citizens Task Force to review and make recommendations regarding future transportation projects. This followed the council's March 25 resolution directing the City Manager to prepare recommendations regarding a potential 2010 transportation bond election.

Citizens Task Force Schedule

The Citizens Task Force is scheduled to meet through June. All meetings will be held at Austin City Hall and will be taped for broadcast on Channel 6 and via video on demand at the Channel 6 website. All meetings are open to the public, and a public hearing will also be held in June on the recommended bond package. Information on upcoming meetings will be available here at austinstrategicmobility.com and via Facebook and Twitter.

The Council-appointed Citizens Task Force has begun its work to review and make recommendations on a potential November 2010 mobility bond package. All meetings are held at Austin City Hall (either in Council Chambers or the Boards and Commissions Room) and will be taped for broadcast (or online video-on-demand) on Channel 6.
